Vicious Temptation | Elle Maldonado

He's a SWAT officer and a deep cover operative. He has one mission: get close enough to destroy her.
The problem? He falls in love first.

Falling for my target was never part of the job.

The assignment should have been simple.

Gain her trust, learn what she knows, and keep the real reasons for being here buried long enough to finish the mission.

But nothing about this woman is simple.

With lips as red as sin, Remi Isabel Cain is unapologetic, loves hard, and has never needed anyone to save her.

The more time I spend in her world, the harder it becomes to remember that every moment between us began as a lie.

She has no idea the man she's starting to trust was sent to betray her.

But secrets never stay buried.

By the time I realize I'd burn it all down to keep her, l'd already made the one mistake she may never forgive.

I let her fall in love with a man who never existed.

Now she knows the truth.

And if I want any chance of surviving the fallout, I'll have to prove that the only thing I never lied about was loving her.
